iPhone notfications not showing up on Mac

I recently upgraded to M4 Macbook from an M1 Macbook. On my old Macbook I used to be able to see iPhone notifications show up, and it was the same for the new one until it just stopped receiving them. I've tried the basic troubleshooting steps like turning Handoff on and off, having wifi and bluetooth on, having notifications "on" on both devices, and having same Apple ID on both devices. Anything else I can do to fix this?
