HELP OS Montgormery 4k Retna HDR Built in

I have an iMac(Retina 5k , 27 inch display later 2015) and I have to say I had a terrible time with upgrading to OS Montgomery. I was told to upgrade to Montgomery by an Apple person I asked if I would loose my data they said no but time machine will back it up anyway. Lost the Computer had to wipe spent hour on the phone. All my data gone finally got to Montgomery won't recognize my time machine time machine is not formatted.,, and now my built in screen doesn't work with iMac own OS. I get ghosting, there is NO option for resolution or True Tone. File I had on sticks won't open because the color profile is different and so I don't have access to my job and I lost my job thank you apple. Buying a new apple is pointless because the iMacs currently for sale is twice the price I paid for this one new. and I have a 4T fusion drive and the iMacs that are for sale are absurd. at 512 which would never hold my Adobe premier program library let alone my work cache. and for some reason my 4k display is better... it works if I go backwards to the old OS but still cant get my files and I cant operate the new software Im required to use unless I'm 12.7 or higher.

Any help would be appreciated.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.7

Apple never sold a Mac with a 4 TB Fusion Drive. The largest Fusion Drive they sold for the iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) was a 3 TB model that combined a 3 GB mechanical hard drive and a 128 GB SSD.

None of Apple's current Macs come with slow internal mechanical hard drives. All use fast SSDs.

If you are looking for inexpensive bulk storage, there is nothing keeping you from using external SSDs or external mechanical hard drives. You can get external SSDs in sizes up to 4 TB each and external desktop hard drives in sizes up to 24 TB each.
