Why does Safari pause audio after disconnecting Bluetooth?

The issue is: after iPhone disconnecting to Bluetooth devices, the safari “listen to page” function fails to work. It has no sound, then it automatically pauses, then when you hit resume, it opens the music app you were listening to instead (Spotify or Apple Music). When you clear all safari history and close all background app, it now just won’t play and has no sound.

The support team suggested all kinds of ways but didn’t work. The only way I tried and worked is to restart the phone completely. The issue persisted for ~ a month.

The support raised through manager level. They suggested me reporting it here so an engineer can work on it.
