How do I change my iPhone language to Chinese?

My Chinese partner asked me to set up her new iPhone. I set the language to English so I could navigate the screens quickly, as my knowledge of Chinese is limited. All went well, until I tried to change the language to ‘Chinese (Simplified’. IT SIMPLY DOESN’T APPEAR IN THE LIST !! Please help, someone! This is so frustrating
