MIDI Server/CoreMidi Crashing

I am having problems with CoreMidi crashing. I am using latest LogicPro, Sonoma 14.4.1, Mac Studio M1 Ultra, 64 Gb RAM, Fireface 802FS.

I am using Network Midi in my set up with 15 ports over a gigabit switch. The midi works fine for a good long while and then occasionally a port is dropped for some reason, or midi is not transmitted properly, or a note hangs. Eventually I get an a "CoreMidi Error 1" requiring logic to be restarted, and quite often the computer to be restarted to resolve the problem.

Is there a known issue with CoreMidi? Has it been resolved in an OS I could upgrade or downgrade to? Any way to resolve this?
