iMovie not working since last up date on iPhone and iPad

Only way round this is to insert a video…the movie then plays , all photos scrolled through.Remove the video and the movie freezes on the first photo…what’s going on Apple?

iMovie freezing on the on frames Hi! I had the issue a lot of people seem to have had with music permission for Imovie during the last update. I followed through with the privacy setting reset which worked - the problem is that now, when I play a project, the audio goes on as intended but the visuals freeze on the first frame. So it's a still image all throughout the audio when it's supposed to be a n animatic, a series of images. When I open the projects to edit them I can click on the separate images just fine, but when I play it, only the image I've selected is shown despite cuts to other pics. I've tried restarting the ipad and stuff but it hasn't worked. How do I fix this...?

How do I fix freezing photos issue on iMovie? Why do my photos in iMovie no longer progress as a Slideshow from the first photo, but the music plays. Oddly enough, if I introduce a video at the very commencement and reduce it to 2 seconds, then my iMovie slideshow operates fine. This sounds like a bug ? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iMovie stuck on first frame and won’t play the rest. When I play the iMovie, the narration is smooth and I can see all the slides I put in for this 8-minute movie, but it won’t progress beyond the first slide. Any ideas on how I can fix it?- all the photos are from my own photo collection.
