I cannot export my video in 1080p

I am using an iMac that is running Sequoia 15.3.1 and after exporting the video at the 1080p setting and set on the highest resolution my download ends up as 720p, or worse. I had seen somewhere about resetting something (forget what it was at the moment but I did the reset before this latest attempt) and I still got back low quality.

This is very frustrating, does anyone know why my movie clip is not exported in 1080p? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

OK, so I figured it out, I'm pretty sure, since my HD is so full, that it bypassed the highest resolution settings, in order to not exceed HD space (even though there was barely enough room) and since iMovie has me exporting so often I bought an external HD and the clip exported in full 1080p, now I can start working on the rest and when done clean up my HD.
