Why can't I play my transferred songs on Mac without a subscription?

I had previously owned cd's and mixes on my Windows PC. I bought a 2024 Mini Mac, transferred my songs, and now I can't play them without a subscription. Why is that?

Some of songs can't sync to a new Mac. Hello, I bought a new Mac and synced all music I purchased with an old Mac. But I found some of the songs were not synced to a new Mac. I checked iTune store, and it said those songs were purchased. How can I download those or sync them? I checked "Check for available to download" under Account, but those were not listed.

How can play purchased music on my new iMac WITHOUT Apple Music -- not going to pay for music AND a app subscription! I purchased a lot of music and downloaded it. I can play it on my iPhone without buying Apple Music, but not on my new mac. Why? I paid for the music. This feels manipulative and predatory. Is there a way to get iTunes back on my new Mac? Purchased song transfer file issue I purchased several songs from iTunes to add to my swim audio player, which will accept Apple G4 audio files. Two of the songs will not transfer, even though they show that I’ve purchased them. I had no trouble transferring the others.

On the Mac, use Finder to locate one of the problem files. Right-click it and choose Open With > Music. What happens?
