Can I recover a lost playlist from a data drive?

Music playlists are stored within the Music Library.musiclibrary database. These are occasionally archived in the Previous Libraries folder when an update to Music changes the database structure in some fashion. If you have access to these files you can option-start-Music to open one of these older libraries, export the lost playlist, option-start-Music again to revert to your primary library, then import the exported list. If Time Machine is set up and includes your Music library you can selectively restore a .musiclibrary package from a suitable date and do the same thing.
