Apple TV box subtitles won’t turn off
Help !! Apple TV box subtitles won’t ever turn off and yes every option in the menu is turned off. My only choice it seems now is to buy a new box !

That’s odd indeed. Try to “reset and update” your Apple TV box: Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings - Apple Support.
You’ll need to set it up again afterwards (Apple Account, downloading apps…) but it will be like it’s fresh out of the box.
