Apple Music on MacBook Pro is misbehaving

Using MacBook Pro M4. Siri will not play songs from my Apple Music library (says it can't find the song, or album), also will not create stations from songs. I've tried restarting the Mac, re-opening the app, deauthorizing and reauthorizing the Mac. My impression is that this seems to have started with the OS15.3.1 update, but could have started earlier. Stations can be created and played just fine on my iPad.

Apple Music (Macbook) will not play. Skips instantly through all tracks. I use Apple Music on an iPhone 13 (iOS 18.4.1) and a MacBook Pro 16inch 2019 (MacOS 15.4.1). I only updated the MacBook to Sequoia from Catalina a couple of weeks ago. This morning, while trying to play music from Apple Music, nothing would play. Instead, it would skip over each song instantly running down the playlist endlessly. Music plays fine from iPhone. Issue happens using both Bluetooth and built in speakers. At one point, it did seem to be limited to music I already had added to library (music previously unlistened had no issues) but since trying again it now seems to be unable to play anything at all. I have tried: logging out and back into Apple Music Account in Apple Music Re-authorizing the MacBook No luck.

Music not working after Sonoma 14.6.1 update Music launches normally, and it plays songs from Apple, but is unable to play any songs from my library. Using a MacBook and I don't know if the update has severed the links to my uploaded audio files. If I click on a song title, the App pops another title into the box at the top, but still does not play anything – neither the correct track, nor the incorrect track that it is now pointing to. Any thoughts on how to repair this would be most gratefully received.

Siri incorrectly identifies non-library songs as already in the library I have been using Music, HomePods, Siri etc for years no problem but now when I ask Siri to 'add song to my library' that is currently playing the answer is always 'this song is already in your library' which it most definitely is not! (also not in a playlist that is not in library or in favourited songs etc). I have done all the usual resets and power cycles. Anyone else experience this glitch? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
