exporting iMovie to mp4.

completed iMovie project in two parts (separate). when recording to separate hard drive with plenty of space. Recording part 2 records as the preceded part 1.

The iMovie projects appear correct, and previous iterations went properly to proper files. May be a naming problem of the iMovie project files. the recording produces a correct MP4 file, just not the iMovie project that is on the screen and active, but a different iMovie project

It is a new problem. I have followed the same procedure with earlier versions on this iMovie project.
