Unable to turn on Face ID and Passcode on iPhone

There is most likely something wrong with your TrueDepth camera. Please review the following support articles.

If an alert says Face ID has an issue on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

If the above doesn’t help, please make a reservation at your nearest Apple Store Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider for diagnostics.

Are any errors shown?

Do you have a passcode enabled? if not, set a passcode, and try enabling Face ID again.

If that fails:

If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

If Face ID still won’t enable, the iPhone probably needs a repair.
