HomePod 2nd generation keeps increasing volume by itself

My HomePod 2nd generation keeps adjusting (increasing) volume by itself several times a day. Happens in the midle of a song. Suddenly there is a second pause and then volume goes up by at least 5 to 10%. Very annoying and makes me jump everytime this happens.

It has been the same with HomePod OS 17 and 18.

Nothing helps, Sound check on or off, moving HomePod around, reset... I can see that others have the same problem.

My HomePod makes a strange loud sound My HomePod is making a very loud "Brfrrr" or farting-type sound. It just began a month or so ago and is random. HomePod 2 skipping, pausing and turning up and down volume My HomePod 2 started having issues with pausing randomly, Siri activating and volume down all the time. Whether I connect it to Apple Tv 4k or play songs on iPhone, but the problem remains the same. Is it because of the recent update 18.2? Coz its started to happen after the update, previously it was working fine till then. I am based in India and yesterday I went to Apple authorised service centre, they were not able to understand the issue and told me it can't be repaired, and you have to replace the HomePod 2, which is like buying a new HomePod. Need some help with this, finding what is the real issue.
