How do I fix group text issues with iOS and Android devices?

There are seven of us in an ongoing group text. All of us are on an iPhone 11 or newer device but one of us uses android. We have been having trouble for about a month with text responses coming back as an individual response instead of a group text. We also are seeing the group text suddenly split off and create a new group text with the same individuals but no historical messages in it. And now it has started to randomly change our group name or to drop the group name entirely. These problems seem to have started after we updated to the new iOS. Any suggestions?

MMS is a phone carrier feature, each line needs to be provisioned by them and have MMS turned on in message settings.

This answer isn't helpful. I have the exact same problem as of yesterday, and I don't understand what we are supposed to do to fix it. Please elaborate/

If you don't understand the answer doesn't mean it isn't helpful.

What part of MMS is a phone carrier feature don't you understand?

You pay them monthly to use that service, and your line needs to be provisioned by them.

So in short so you can understand, report your issue to your phone carrier so they can FIX it for you

Let me clarify: This is happening to all 10 members of the text group, same as the original questioner. Some members are on Android, most are on iPhone, and members are on different carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) yet all are having the same issue. How do we know which carrier is causing the issue? Or is it ALL the carriers? Do all 10 people need to report the issue to their individual carriers, and do all 10 issues have to be resolved separately for our thread to return to operational? And why did this problem just arise yesterday, when it's worked just fine for years?

Thank you for this additional information.

Yes, all of you have to reported to the phone carrier.

I've in plenty of group MMS, there are times when I don't receive message, I don't care enough to contact AT&T, I usually wait it out until they resolve it.
