Syncing Apple Classroom data between Macbook & iPad

I am a Middle School teacher, & my district uses Apple products almost exclusively. I have been using Apple Classroom on my Macbook for going on 3 years. For the last several months, I have used my school-issued iPad as a separate monitor, so that I can have Classroom pulled up at all times while going through lessons. Lately, though, I've had WiFi/connectivity issues when using my iPad as a separate monitor. I would like to transfer my Classroom info from the Macbook to the iPad, but so far I have been unable to do this. The app is installed on both devices, both are supposedly set to sync with iCloud, but only the Macbook appears to actually do so. The iPad lists Classroom under "Apps using iCloud" but then under iCloud Drive Settings, it says "Apps Syncing to iCloud Drive 0"

Is there a way to migrate the classes I already have on my Macbook to the iPad? Thanks in advance!

iPad, iPadOS 17
