iTunes playlists gone after accidentally syncing iphone with my mac

A bunch of my downloaded music playlists are gone after I accidentally turned sync on with my iphone. I did not want sync on, because I only want specific playlists on my phone not all of my apple music. Since I did that, some of my playlists are completely empty or gone entirely. I spent a lot of work downloading those and building them up. All of them were mp4 or mp3 files. Is there a way I can recover them?? I can't seem to figure it out. I deleted some of these from my iphone because I didn't want them on and I didn't realize they would delete from itunes on my computer. When I search for the songs, they do come up in the search bar, and I can listen to them if I click on them, but I can't view them in their location or in downloads. I'd appreciate any help. I'm quite upset about all the work I did that's just gone.

Edit* Just remembered that these playlists on my iphone came up on the AppleTV app, I think.
