Unable to download 'SleepWatch' app on Apple Watch running watchOS 8.8

Why does my Apple Watch refuse to download “SleepWatch”? I’ve downloaded it in the Apple Watch app on my iPhone but when I hit install, it loads then just stops. When I try to download on the app store on my Apple Watch, it loads then says some error about connection.. I’ve restarted the watch and double checked wifi.. any tips or advice? I know the app is compatible with my watch because it shows data in the SleepWatch app from last night..

I see that you have checked the network for the Apple Watch. Look to see if the network issue is on the phone. An unreliable internet connection can ruin the download, causing it not go through.

However, considering that SleepWatch is a mainstream app, there is a good chance that your watchOS is just no longer supported by the app.
