Why is Apple charging my bank account £25.99 every month?

Apple is attempting to charge my bank account £25.99 every month, and I need an explanation for this charge. I have not purchased or subscribed to anything at this price, and I have thoroughly checked to confirm this!

  • What is the exact description of the charge?
  • Post a screenshot of your Purchase History:

  • Post a screenshot of your subscriptions:

Those will identify charges by Apple. You may have charges that are not managed by Apple for third party App Stores (EU) or websites.

Chances are you have subscribed to something. Apple don't generally make spurious charges without authorization.

Now, whether you recall (or even realized) that's what you did is a separate thing.

Either way, you're in control of this. Either visit https://apple.com/bill to review all charges related to your Apple Account, or use the Phone -> Settings -> Apple ID -> Media & Purchases -> Purchase History to see what the charges relate to. If it is a subscription, you can cancel the subscription from the same place.
