How do I fix iPhone Calendar app single repeating event issue?

When editing a repeating event in the calendar on my iPhone 11, I used to get the options to change only that one occurrence or to change all future occurrences. The single option is no longer an option. [Note: If it matters, no other device shares this calendar.] What caused this and how do I get it fixed? TIA... KBo

It's interesting that the ability returned for you. I am still unable to change the time for a single recurring event. For example, I have a recurring event set up for all day. Occasionally, I want to change one of the dates to an exact time rather than all day, but the checkbox for "all-day" (on Calendar for my MacBook) is grayed out and can't be changed. I can't change it on my iPhone for one date either—I can turn off All-day and change the time, but the Save function only allows me to save that change for all Future Events.
