Making generator or title boxes (or others) small

By mistake I made the text box (purple one) small, which is what I always wanted but didn't know you could do that. I've never seen it on videos or read about it and I searched for it....maybe I didn't use the correct search words to find info about this but I've never found anything.

How do you make the generator or title boxes small like the purple one?

When I enlarge my screen, I hate that all boxes become huge taking a lot of space on the timeline.

Would anyone know how to do this??

You can lower the height of the clip with shift+⌘-(minus).

Hey Luis, thank you for answering.

No, I'm not editing a 360 project, so I'll change that immediately, as I've always used that type of box and thank you so much for mentioning that.

Regarding the size of the boxes, my boxes, even the text ones, have always been large (see screenshot of another video) and if I reduce the size of the thumbnails, even the video portion will get too small to see anything.

That's why I asked how did I make the text box small.....there must be a command of something...isn't?

Boxes from another video (always been large)

If I reduce the size of my timeline, everything will get small, even the video portion, which I would like to keep larger than the boxes. I know this is not possible (to enlarge the video portion but not the boxes) but even just reducing the size of the boxes, as it happened with the purple text box, would be great.

Or maybe it's not possible to make the other boxes smaller (as you said only the text box is small) but I must have done something to reduce the size of the text box, because since I started using FCP, those boxes have always been large like the other ones as per screen shot above.

Thanks for any insight.

Actually the Shift+Command+minus it didn't lower the height of my boxes.

You can have a better view of the text box without transition, in the same video, where it is large and then it's small.

If anyone think of anything, please let me know!!!!

Text box is large, then becomes small.

Here you can see that with (1st text box) or without (2nd and 3rd text boxes) transitions, the text box is large.

It has always been large (with or without transitions), than it became small.
