Resetting Apple ID on borrowed device

Is there a way to reset my Apple ID on a borrowed IPhone 8 that can’t download the Apple Support App because it can’t run IOS 17.0 !

the IPhone 8 is running

IOS 16.7.10 !

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

How can I force erase an iPad with an invalid Apple ID? I gave my granddaughter my old iPad and she decided she was gonna try and change the Apple ID and passwords and she end up deleting everything now the iPad recognizes no Apple ID. The iPad works everything but I cannot login with with an Apple ID.

Reset your password online at iforgot.apple.com should be the best course of action for you at the moment
