Adding a Mac Mini Camera

Adding a Mac Mini Camera is very difficult. We love the Apple ecosystem, but I think you are missing or skipping some simple things. There is no Mac mini camera system and the iPhone, which is an Apple product, can be used as a macOS camera. If you want to use the iPhone camera for the Mac mini, you need to plug in a different camera and then you need to open the iPhone camera. Solution: It is more correct to allow the iPhone or iPad to be used as a camera without requiring a camera. In fact, a MacBook camera can be added or made for some. Best Regards

I don't want to plug in a USB webcam. That's the problem. Why isn't this feature available without plugging in a webcam? We want to use our iPhone or iPad as a webcam. Why do we have to plug in a USB webcam?

I am counting my hardware. 1. iphone pro max 2. MacBook Pro 3. Mac mini 4. ipad pro 5. windows PC Original Apple keyboard and mouse. AirPods headphones automatically switch to whichever device we are using. Keyboard and mouse can't do this? Fail. Web cam can't do this. Fail. A simple eco-system uses the same iCloud (Apple ID) and there is no eco-system. I think this is very strange and funny

Sure, I do no have a problem connecting it either. I can easily plug things in, with or without adapters. However, if the Mac mini does not recognize the camera, plug and play on other systems, nor does it recognize the camera on my mirrored iPhone, then perhaps others can have problems. Since I have seen this problem on other forums with no resolution, perhaps your mini is one of the few that actually functions correctly. Mine does not, nobody here or at apple has been able to help. So I have to take it to the mall and pay to see if I can get it to work.

Can you use an iPhone as a web cam on your Apple Mac Mini? Answer: Yes - USB web cam is plugged in. Answer: No - USB web cam is not plugged in? This is ridiculous. Why? Why do I have to plug in a web cam? Is it that hard to add a web cam driver?

Thank you. This is the only useful information I have seen. Hopefully, they can help me because the Apple store is 3 hours north and I'm not sure if the apple reseller here will/can help. If I can't it to work I will have to sell or give it away and buy a new system.🙏

If the webcam does not work it would appear that your mini is faulty and as such it should be covered under the warranty.

Apple Mac Mini allows you to show the iPhone camera if you plug in a webcam. If you don't have a webcam, you can't use an iPhone. I think this is a big nonsense.
