How do I fix sound and mic issues with earphones on the new iPhone 16 Pro Max?

Steps to fix the sound and mic outcome that the earphones display in the new iPhone 16 pro max. Make it sound like the normal iphones! Do not know how to use the new HORRIBLE settings. Makes no sense

iphone 14 pro max won't recognize lavalier This morning while I was attempting to use the lavalier mic with my iphone 14 I accidentally told hit the "headphones" option. There now appears to be no way to get the phone to accept this particular device as anything other than headphones. Which is a HUGE problem. So far I have tried the following: Changing dongles changing microphones- it will recognize a different microphone as external microphone if I use it in voice memos first plugging in wired headphones and then trying the lav mic again - nothing changes waiting an hour while my phone was in lock screen and trying again changing the accessories option to on and also back to off As soon as I plug this particular device into any dongle, the phone immediately recognizes it as headphones. There must be some way for that to be changed. I'm a human, sometimes I make mistakes, I really need this thing to work and so far the help answers related to this topic have been supremely dismissive. I can't possibly be the only person who has ever erroneously told a phone it was headphones when I was in a rush. PLEASE HELP. PS - No, it is not a problem with the device as it works with other phones just fine.

Audio playing through the front microphone How can i change audio output on my iphone 12pro max, when i play videos or music, anything that produces sounds, the audio now plays from the front microphone instead of the speaker. And this problem started once I updated to the IOS version before the current release of IOS 17. I’ve tried the audio/visual options of balancing the left/right speakers, restarted my iphone a couple of times even went as far as to reset the phones settings but still it won’t use the normal audio speaker, and when i use the “Phone doctor plus” app to run diagnostics, it says everything is fine. What should I do? Anyone? Apple?
