Hello, and welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.
Re: " .... register for a class on vision impaired use of iphone : My neighbor has an iPhone 8 with voice over since he is blind: ... there is a 90 minute class offered on March 6th, 11:00 a.m. However, my neighbor does not know of an apple ID or password for his phone. Must he have that to register for the class?
How wonderful that your neighbor has you to help! As we are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community, we can not say for sure what a particular Apple store may or may not require in a particular instance. We'd like to help, however.
