iTunes Match taking forever to upload to cloud....

So, I just subscribed to iTunes Match, thinking that I'd free up some space on my Macbook. I start the process and get this message: "Loading your Cloud library...this may take several minutes". It's going on 3.5 hours now.

I only have 20G of music, it shouldn't take that long to upload. What gives?

How am I "Exceeding Limit" (100K) for iCloud with only 93K tracks total? When I import new mp3's into Apple Music, they suddenly no longer cloud sync and say "Exceeded Limit." My main window shows "92,871 items" at the bottom, well under the 100K limit. Oddly, added songs from Apple Music DO STILL cloud sync (though they now take longer between devices.) Virtually all tracks in personal playlists are added only after adding them to my Library, with very few exceptions. I have around 300 Apple Music lists saved, but those do not count unless specifically added correct? (I keep automatically add to Library turned off.) Even if AM list tracks did count, there'd have to be over 200 songs avg per list to put me over 100K; the average couldn't be over 50 or so. Would love to get my 100K limit as stated. Any help? Loading Cloud Music Library is taking hours and hours A couple of weeks ago I imported some tracks into my Music library, but their cloud status remained on 'waiting' for a week. I was advised to go to File/Library/Update Cloud Library. However, the 'Update Cloud Library' command was greyed out. I looked on these community pages for a solution to that, and many people said that I should go to the account menu and sign out and then sign in again. So I did that, and now, 12 hours later, I'm just looking at a notice 'Loading your Cloud Music Library. This may take several minutes'. All the cloud status icons have disappeared, except for a few 'removed from iCloud' and 'not eligible'. No 'matched' or 'uploaded', as there was before. This is a real pain. How can I fix it?

what to do when it says loading cloud music library for days I'm trying to sync my Apple Music. I have a subscription and both my phone and Macbook Pro are logged into the same account. I added music four days ago and my MacBook Pro still says "Loading Cloud Music Library." My music is not on my Apple Music app on my phone. They aren't syncing because the music is still loading in the cloud. How long does this take? I've had it loading for four days now. I checked the cloud status and it says "waiting." I've also gone into Library > Update Cloud Library and still no movement. What can I do?

Update: It finally worked I guess. Space is now freed up on my machine.

What solved (?) it was quitting the app and restarting my computer.

Feels like an IT Crowd reply, "Hello IT...Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
