Unable to mount external hard drive on my MacBook Pro with macOS Sonoma
Following the most recent iOS update, my Mac no longer recognizes ANY of my external hard drives.... suggestions?

Try to open the Disk Utility on your Mac. Then insert your external hard drive. It should appear in the left bar, right underneath your Macintosh HD main hard drive.
If you see it there, but not on the desktop, then you might have a file system issue. But if you don't see it there, it could be an issue with the connection of the external drive to your Mac. (cable, plug, etc.)
