iPhone won't message android users

My iPhone 14 suddenly quit sending messages to my Android user friends. How do I fix that?

Upgraded to 14 Pro Max. Can't send or receive messages to Android phones at all now. I bought new iPhone 14 Pro Maxes for my family for Christmas. We all transferred our data from our old phones on Christmas Eve. Now none of our phones can send or receive individual or group messages with certain recipients. It looks like they are all Android users. I've gone through all of the steps outlined here: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support I noticed that it says "Send as Text Message". That option isn't available when we tap the red exclamation point icon. At this point I've spent a couple hours trying to resolve this. I'm disappointed that after spending the money to upgrade our phones that we're having such a fundamental problem.

unable to text android users My IPhone X is suddenly unable to send text messages or responses to non Apple devices. I recently updated my software and noticed this issue shortly thereafter. How do I fix this?

SMS is required to send texts to Android. SMS is governed by your cellular carrier. Seek their assistance.
