That’s a very broad question. What apps do you get notifications from, and what apps don’t you?

Do you have an Watch? If you do and you are wearing it most notification’s go to the watch, and not the iPhone, unless the phone is unlocked.

Hey Lawrence, sorry to bother you again. But, what do you think could be the problem? I’ am in Canada. I don’t know where you are but, I stopped receiving notifications just now again?

I apologize, I did not understood so clearly your question but, in regard's to it, the main app I receive notifications from is just Headspace in the morning and sometimes The Score App for games. But, that is all. It is so boring to have a cell-phone that doesn’t work. Specially a iPhone 16 bought just now in October. Please let me know, what should I do? If possible. Do you think these has to do something with the Indians they are very sketchy people?

The first step is to restart your iPhone, which causes all notification settings to be reset. Either:

That will usually fix notification problems. Further steps if that doesn’t fix it:

  • Make sure you can make and receive phone calls - Notifications require a cellular voice connection (they are sent over the voice control channel)
  • Go to Settings/Notifications and tap on each app and make sure notifications for the app is turned on. If it is, turn it off, then on again to reset it
  • Force-quit each app→Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support, then launch it
  • Last resort: Delete the app, then reinstall it from the app store

Hi Lawrence,

Thank yo so much for your answer. I don’t have an Apple Watch and the Phone provider is with Bell in Canada. However, I don’t know if it is unlocked or not? But, they have told me previously from older cell-phones that I can use the provider I wish. More over, notifications started working after I started talking to you.

Best Regards,

Leonard.
