Apple pay doesn't work on Safari

Just wanted to express my frustration with Apple Support on the phone today.

Apple pay works on my watch and my iPhone with no problem. I wanted to make a purchase from the online apple store but when the apple pay button came, it started to request confirmation say by touch ID and stopped. I called and was shuttled from advisor to advisor for about three hours. One even sent me to the banking people to make sure my apple card was good even after I explained it worked with my watch and my hone but not on my M2 Macbook Pro on my Mac. The Apple Pay person suggested I go to another browser where there was no problem but didn't solve my problem on Safari. The Safari person said he was not qualified to do apple pay. All a waste of time. No solution requested, just venting my frustration.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.3
