Apple Arcade Angry Bird lost progress and users

Since the last update of Angry Birds Reloaded in Apple Arcade I have lost all my progress and players. It has reset itself to the start of the game. I have contacted the App developer and they replied that due to Apple privacy policy they can't access any of my data. Is there any solution to it?

Same thing happened to me. It has me signed into Apple’s Game Center, and also shows the same achievements from earlier play. But it has me back at the start of the game. Giving it a few days to see if they fix what I can only assume is a problem for lots of users. If not, I’ll simply delete the game and never look back.
