Startup failure after macOS update

I recently had a new battery installed in my MacBook Pro 15 (2015 model) from a shop. Everything was working fine when I received the laptop.

I updated the operating system from macOS Big Sur to the latest version, macOS Monterey 12.7.6 .

  1. After the update, I encountered the following issues:

• Startup Problem: When I turn on the laptop, it gets stuck on the Apple logo and does not proceed further.

• Safe Mode Issue: When I try to boot into Safe Mode and enter my password, the system freezes at the login screen.

3. Reinstallation Attempts:

• I have tried reinstalling the OS three or four times, including using a bootable USB, but the issue persists.

• The system still gets stuck on the Apple logo even after a fresh installation.

4. Reset Attempts:

• I have performed SMC (System Management Controller) reset and PRAM/NVRAM reset, but they did not fix the issue.

• I also tried Disk Utility (First Aid) in macOS Recovery Mode, but the problem remains.

Despite these troubleshooting steps, the system still does not boot properly.

Please check and advise on the best solution and I don't want to lose the important data.

You have certain done a lot of good work there 👍 and in a very concise formatted posting

But " I recently had a new battery installed in my MacBook Pro 15 (2015 model) from a shop "

Having an Apple Computer Battery replaced should not cause this type of issue except if the " Shop " was Not an Apple Certified and Authorized Service Centre

They know exactly how to perform this battery replacement and would have used an Apple Original Battery

The best I could offer would to return to the " Shop " and have them fix that which they appear to have broken

Or >>

Have the computer evaluated by the Professionals who have the Special Hardware Software and Expertise to diagnose the issue and offer possible solutions
