When sharing your location via Find My or Messages, Apple only shares the location from one device at a time, even if multiple devices are signed in with the same Apple ID.

How It Works:

  • By default, Find My will use your iPhone's location if available.
  • You can manually change which device is sharing your location by going to Settings > [Your Name] > Find My > Share My Location and selecting a different device (iPad or Mac).
  • Only the selected device will update your location for Find My, Messages, and other location-sharing services.
