Music would not sync fully on my iphone and album art was randomized

Music would not sync all my songs from my MacBook Pro to my iPhone for the last year, and half of the album art on my phone was randomized. Music playlists, songs and album art were fine on my MacBook Pro.

While on the phone for the 7th time with Apple I found the solution myself to my problem. The trick is to delete all the music on the iphone and reload it from the computer. In the sync window uncheck the box that says "Sync music onto 'John Doe's' iPhone."

A dialog box will come up that says, "Are you sure you do not want to sync music? All existing songs and playlists on the iPhone “Michael’s iPhone” will be removed." Choose "Remove" and let it run. When this is completed, redo the sync from computer to phone. This brought all my songs/ playlists across with the correct album art. I hope this helps someone else out there.
