Saving kindle books in icloud

Starting February 26, Amazon will no longer allow you to download purchased books onto my iPad. I’ve purchased over 3,000 books in the last 20 years. I won’t be purchasing another book from Amazon, but I’d like to keep my library on my iPad. How can I do this?

Books keep deleting locally if icloud sync is on Hello, my problem is that if I have iCloud sync for books turned on my books after some time gets offloaded locally and stored only in iCloud, therefore when I'm traveling or going somewhere without internet access I can't read my books (terrible design choice btw). I have plenty of space in my iCloud and books are pretty much low-weight, I want to be able to access them anytime if I downloaded them once, why do they keep being offloaded? I read other threads about this issue but all of them has no solutions except turning off iCloud for books - what is this answer? I want my books to be accessible across multiple devices but I want to control whichever content is being deleted locally (like in other cloud solutions) Is there something I missing? If not, how to send complaint to apple for them to fix this hideous "smart" offloading.

Downloaded books getting offloaded from Books app on iPad mini. My books keep getting offloaded from the Books app. I’ve been reading on Books for nearly a decade now, but about a few months back, my books kept getting offloaded and I would have to download them back again. I understand this is due to iCloud, and has to do with device storage but I have well over 30GB or so to spare, and I’m getting tired of downloading my hundreds of books again and again when I wanna read them. You would need to ask Amazon. But it does not appear to be the case. Amazon is allowing WiFi downloads only. You will no longer be able to download and transfer Fromm a computer. There should be no issue if you download your books via WiFi

what is the difference? I always download via WiFi, so will I still be able to download my books to my iPad?
