How do I fix iMovie freezing on iPhone 14 while using the Magic Movie option?

I have an IPhone 14 and I have read most if not everything on this particular subject but they are all referring to Macs and that doesn’t help me. On my iMovie app on my iPhone I always choose the magic movie option to make videos for promotion. Lately each time I choose that option and choose a video to upload the entire app literally freezes. I tried pressing everything just to see if it would change but nothing happened. I tried going out of the app and starting over and even turned my phone off and back on and it still froze and nothing ever loaded. Please help

Hi,

There is a freezing issue with photos (not videos) in iPhone iMovie due to a bug in iOS 18.2 and 18.3. I am running iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 18.3.1 and I get the same issue. A workaround is to put a video clip anywhere in the timeline.

I realize that you said you were uploading a video, so the above may not apply to you.
