iMovie export fails at the same point without error messages on Mac

The finished project is not exported. It does not issue any error messages. It always stops exporting at the same point. The export does not start for the last 5 attempts. There is storage space on the MacBook.

Hi,

A corrupt frame or clip might be what is causing the export to abort. Expand your timeline with the slider located above and to the right of the timeline. Then scroll around the time point in the timeline where the export quits. Look for black frames, flickering, white flashes, artifacts and any other signs of corruption. Cut out any that you find and try again to export.
