GarageBand project versions and compatability

I am trying to bring a vocal track from an earlier version of a song recording forward to the current version. I'm simply copying and pasting, but when I do so the track pitches slightly and its BPM is slightly off. There is no difference between the earlier project than the current one other than title. I created the newer version to when I decided to do some different work on the song. Any idea how to correct?

Opening older versions of Garageband files in latest version of Garageband My older Garageband projects, as old as version 5.1, have to be resaved as new files in order to open them in the latest version of Garageband, 10.4.8. When I open them in the latest version though, most of the instrument loops used for backing tracks are unavailable and only the recorded track can be heard. How do I access these older instrument loops particularly the drum loops? If they're not supported it pretty much makes Garageband a worthless recording medium for any enduring recordings.

Delete and Move not working in Garageband This is not so much a question but a solution. When editing audio in Garageband, it doesn't take MP4 files. I mean it will download into it but using the Delete and Move feature doesn't work because GarageBand doesn't support MP4 files. What you have to do is download the file. Move that file to your Apple Music playlist. Highlight the file and go the upper left corner to file. Then in the dropdown menu there will be something that says convert, then it will say convert to AAC file and that's what you want. Your audio file will begin converting to AAC. Then drag and drop that file into GarageBand and you'll be able to delete and move. I hope this helps!
