Unable to resolve 'Access ChatGPT is restricted on this device' error with Siri on Macbook Air M3

I'm using a Macbook Air M3 on Sequoia 15.2.

Siri and ChatGPT tells me whenever I try to add 'Ask ChatGPT' before any of my requests, "Access to ChatGPT is restricted on this device"

Any help appreciated.

Then other than restarting your Mac in Safe Mode and trying again. If that fails then it sounds like you need to call Apple Support. These are user-to-user forums and no one here is an Apple employee or Apple contractor.

Safe Mode performs maintenance routines and clears some caches. It often resolves problems. Also try setting both region and language to U.S. While Apple Intelligence is supposed to be available in Australia and is supposed to support Australian English...
