Sonoma 14.5 click issue, when will it be resolved?

From my searches it seems this has been an issue since mid 2023 and here we are in early 2025 and I still have the issue with the latest version of Sonoma (14.5) Sometimes the click function does not work, the only way I have found to get it working again is to click on a different app and then return to the app I was working in. Happens 3 or 4 times a day, don't know what actions I might be doing to prompt this failure but exiting that app and going back seems to work, annoying. Mac mini 2018, Mac bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse, Samsung monitor.

You can use cmd+tab to switch between open applications, or you can deliberately click on the application window to make it current. The operating system does not have focus follows pointer or making an application current by passing the mouse over it.

Sonoma v14.7.4 is available via Software update (separate access below Sequoia v15.3.1 entry) and I recommend that you stay current with relevant operating system updates as they do contain bug fixes, security, and feature enhancements.
