With new updates, Save as Video function of sequenced Live Photos saves them in reverse order (Video shows last photo first) and no longer trims overlapping parts of the photos creating a seamless video. It had previously done this very well. Is there a setting that changed on my phone?

This worked for me. I had to save the photos into their own album first. I then sorted them oldest to newest. I selected all and saved as video. That made the video in the correct order and trimmed the overlap too!
If anyone else is having this issue I figured it out. The photos must be sorted by Recently Added and NOT date captured. The videos look appropriate then and fixed both problems.
