In Notes, or messages we can review each suggested change. In pages and Keynote you can choose to copy or replace without any Indication at all of what you are changing? Why is the actual writing app proofreader so much less functional than the notes and messages app? Is everyone else seeing this also?

As no Apple employees participate in these fellow user-supported public communities, we are not permitted to speculate on internal Apple product implementation decisions. Perhaps Notes and Messages are not word processing applications as is Pages.
Let me rephrase my question then. Does anyone know if this is intended behavior or if it's likely to change in beta updates? I would think the fact that Notes and Messages are not word processing applications would make them the less fully feature use of proofreader. So I'm just trying to see if this is what they intended or just an early iteration. Also trying to see if it's a setting or something I'm missing. Is anyone else encountering this and do you know if you can fix it?
We have no idea about future Apple products, and discussing Apple beta products here is a violation of community guidelines. Each of the applications that you mention has its own product design and implementation team and you can derive that the current shipping applications are exactly what those teams planned to provide.
Ok so I can see this forum is not going to be any help. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this or knew if I was doing something wrong. As for beta I was referring to the gradual roll out that Apple is doing of Apple intelligence not actual beta software. My computer is not running a beta. But I’ll just find help somewhere else.
