"iPhone 14 update to IOS 18.3: I'm not receiving a notification when I get mail in the Apple mail app after upgrading to IOS 18.3"

-------

Notification Sound Issues After an Update:

A. Restart your iPhone:

Having upgraded to 18.3.1, restart the iPhone. There may a few things that need to be finally need to be configured. Restarting is something you should always do right after installing an update --whether you update a mobile device or a computer. So, save wave need be, and then perform the restart Go here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support.

B. Back Up your iPhone:

Also, having just installed an update, be sure to create a backup of your iPhone to your computer from here. That way, you can have something to restore it from, should anything go worng from here until the next iOS update/upgrade install.

C. Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
