since 18.3 update, pdf files wont open using outlook

What happens when you try to open one?

I upgraded my 9th generation iPad to ios 18.3.1 and now I can not open my pdf files in any app. I usually use Freeform to acces my pdf files, since I study from them and it it easy to make notes, but i tried opening them in My Files and the iPad gives the same reaction, it just shuts down. I do not know what to do.
