How to prevent playhead from skipping back when resuming in Logic Pro 11.1.2

When i press the spacebar to stop my playhead, and then press it again to resume playing a track i'm editing it skips back a beat when it resumes. i want it to resume from the very point where it stopped, not a beat behind where it I stopped it. It's annoying when I'm trying to edit and the playhead skips back and won't start from the point I stopped it at. Does anyone know who to fix this issue? I have the latest version of Logic Pro: 11.1.2
