Static and beeping sound when I record a voice memo

I am reposting this from something I saw on this forum roughly 2 years ago. I have the exact same problem.

When I send a voice message on messages and I play it back, there’s a weird beeping and static sound. But when I record a video it doesn’t happen. When i wear headphones and i send a voice message i cant hear it. It only happens when i send a voice message through my phone mic.

support asked if when I leave a voice memo, it does the same thing, it does not. The voice memo is entirely clear.

any solutions?

If you can, can you provide a recording? That seems weird that you are hearing that on your recordings.

So, I saw the recordings (the iMessages and Voice Memos). The beeping sound can be caused by a low battery on your phone while recording. The static–I don't know what causes that, but iMessages usually has bad microphone recordings. What else may be causing the beep and static is probably because the microphone is damaged, or at least in the way that iMessages uses it. That's all I can think of. I also checked on my iPhone SE (2nd or 3rd gen) and it has the same static sound, but no beeping.

It's very weird because Voice Memos produces clean recordings, while iMessages doesn't.
