iCloud Private Relay not Working with PIA VPN

I have iCloud Private Relay and also Private Internet Access VPN for broader uses. Whenever I install my VPN on my Mac (macOS 15.3), it says that iCloud Private Relay is not compatible or offline or something of that nature (yellow status). I understand when the VPN is on and active, but simply even installing the software causes that to be disabled. Whereas on iPhone and iPad, I have PIA VPN + iCloud Private Relay working side by side. Any solution? They both don't have to be on at the same time, but at least don't disable it you know? I get it if it doesn't work while the VPN is working, but it doesn't make sense why simply having the software installed messes with it when it doesn't on iOS + iPadOS.

Any tips?

iCloud Private Relay doesn't work well with anything that installs content filters. I'm not sure how PIA works or what other features it bundles (I don't use it).

If it is just installing TUN/TAP devices then I would expect it to only cause Private Relay to fail when the VPN is active. If it has other features and installs any content filters or has other configured background services, then who knows.
