MacMini M4 (2024) and KVM Switch Video "Issue"

I have a new MacMini and a VPFET KVM that supports "HDMI KVM Switch 2 Monitors 3 Computers EDID Simulation 4K@60Hz 3 Ports KVM Switches Dual Monitor for 3 PC Share 4 USB 3.0 Ports and 2 Screens".

It "works" but when I switch computers and return to the Mini, the video does not display. The only way to get it to display is to remove and replace either end of the HDMI cable.
