How long for AppleCare to respond to stolen iPhone 13 Pro Max claim?

I had a iPhone 13 Pro Max and on Thursday(feb 6,2025) afternoon it was stolen I have AppleCare for theft and lost so I had gone ahead to make a claim about it so I just want to know how long its going to take to hear back something. Another issue that I'm having is when I check "find my iPhone" it's showing offline and saying erase pending and that once the phone connects to the internet it's going to be erased I tried cancelling it but it keep coming up saying that it can not send this request and that there is a problem sending the request to that device. Please help

Why would you possibly want to cancel your erase request? I don’t believe that is possible. As you have been told, the erase will occur when the iPhone connects to the internet.

Oops … you do have a problem.

From this article:

Find your lost iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

“If your device can't be recovered, erase it. Make sure that you've tried everything else to find it — erasing your device can't be undone.“

And from here:

iPhone Theft and Loss Claims - Official Apple Support

“Use the Find My app or go to iCloud.com/find to mark your iPhone as lost. Do not remove your device from your account until your claim has been fully approved.”

Hopefully the erasure will not happen because the iPhone won’t connect to the internet.

Note:

"If your device has iOS 15 or later, or iPadOS 15 or later, you can still use Find My or iCloud.com/find to locate it after you erase it."

The iPhone 13 Pro Max originally shipped with iOS 15. So it sounds like even if it learns of the Erase request, it will still be associated with the OP's account (assuming that the OP does not separately remove it).
