Unable to zoom 25x with Camera Control on iPhone 16 Pro

Tap the Camera Capture button to open the Camera. It may open to 1x, etc. Then double tap (lightly) the button again to bring up the options, including Zoom. If necessary slide to get to Zoom. Tap Zoom and use your finger to slide either direction, where you'll see you can Zoom to 25x.

Then you didn't follow the directions I provided to use the Camera Capture Button. Follow them exactly as I posted them.

The 16 Pro camera control supports “real” zoom, not digital (or “pretend”) zoom. Digital zoom isn’t zoom at all; it is essentially cropping the image before you take it by using only a small portion of the CMOS sensor.

You can still go to 25x from the camera screen, but from a photographer’s perspective you will get better results shooting at the highest lens zoom setting (5x), then cropping the image after you take it.
